As directors of the Healing Rooms of Greater Syracuse (member IAHR)we have seen an inordinate amount of attacks on those in the ministry. Repeated car problems, house problems, family situations, financial problems, attacks of sickness and the like. It was uncanny as in a short period of time about 50% of the team members were under seige by the enemy.

When something like this happens, you start to question. Are we doing the right thing? Have we missed something? Is their sin in our lives? Did we miss God? Did we miss our calling?

Many of us feel that we are in a daily fight with repeated challenges.

“Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High. “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust inYou. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear…” (Psalm 56:1-4)

“This scripture tells how all day we fight with our enemy and how the enemy wants to hound us into discouragement.”

As we pressed into God for the answers, God answered. May this be an encouragement to those who are under seige by the enemy to not be worn down, but to stand strong and see your deliverance.

There is a time for war (Ecc 3:8), but the victory is ours if the battle is the Lords.

If we are in Christ, then the enemy can’t win. The attacks will come, but we need to look up to where our salvation comes.

MIC 7:7 Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.” (Micah 7:7-8)
