Note: Jo Ann has been very ill having suffered both a stroke and parasites in one eye which have left that eye blind. Here Eye has had many surgeries and now she can see light and dark shadows -- more surgury is ahead - the parasites that destroyed the eye are dead - Please pray for her. In these prophetically inspired prose, you will find much to pray on as we both wait for the Lord's return.

Prelude to the Prophetic Rhyme: Sudden Destruction

Many years ago David Wilkerson put out a message on tape entitled Sudden
Destruction. I have not thought of it until I received this word this morning. The Holy
Spirit always gives me titles of the prophetic rhymes. I had no idea this one was coming
to me this morning. I started writing by faith as He gave me the words.

There was an experience that happened to Me this past February, 2001. We had a terrible
ice and snow storm in Red River County, an isolated and very poor county with no
industry to speak of except agriculture and timber. The ice storm came and broke trees,
high power lines, poles and destroyed many of the jobs and industry that was here. We
were declared one of three disaster counties in the state.

Previously, my husband and I did quite a bit of preparation for Y2K. Remember that?
The Lord had been speaking to My Spirit for many years and still is about hard times
ahead. I have been blessed by prophets and newsletters that I receive in the mail about
prophecy fulfilled. At this time, we had no warning. My husband had just gone to work
offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for two weeks. I was here alone with many animals to
take care of -- with only one seeing eye. It sounded like a war going on around me. I
live on the edge of a forest and trees were falling everywhere. Then there was a power
outage. Years ago in the spring when everything was peaceful and beautiful, I kept
hearing the words "Power Outage" -- nearly audibly. I did not see how it could possibly
happen to us, but it did. Even our church had to close its doors for 2 1/2 weeks because of
the power outage and their remote location, but I was able to meet with neighbors to
fellowship, pray and have Bible study.

I could not sleep much and had little appetite, but, God gave my husband the wisdom to
get away from central heating and cooling so I was set up for a warm house. Neighbors
brought me water. The road to our house had trees laying all over it and I couldn't drive
out. My brother-in-law and sister cleaned me a path. My mother (84 years old) who
lives 1/2 mile away in a country home cooked the family one meal a day. Although I
could not sleep and had little appetite, my needs were taken care of.

During this time the presence of the Lord was so heavy in the house that the
circumstances no longer bothered me all. The Lord started speaking to my spirit almost
continuously about things to come. After a few days, my phone rang and it was George
Kirkpatrick calling from Ohio. I was so surprised and blessed to hear from him since I
did not think my phone was working. Vince Aquilino called and offered to type the
prophetic rhymes. I knew this was my heavenly Father watching over me.

I had total peace although we did not have electricity for 15 days although going to bed at
5:30 PM and kerosene lamps got a little old. I fell down icy steps twice, but was
perfectly OK. My husband kept calling and wanted to know if he needed to leave his job
and come home. He would always ask me what I was doing. "Having Conversations and
receiving counseling from the Lord" I would reply.

My sister and I both received a word concerning these circumstances. She felt this was a
trial run getting us ready for the next one. The Spirit showed me it was like a dress
rehearsal for a wedding or a play. Be ready for the next one and there will surely be one.
Many people laughed at the Y2K thing. I believe it was His way of letting Christians
know to get prepared for survival and be self sustaining. He kept revealing the parable of
the 10 virgins to me. Thank God I had lamps and oil. I did not have to go to the store
except a week later for gasoline for the generators. This experience taught me many
lessons and I am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to go through so many days
without modern conveniences.

Saints a word of wisdom - Get to know your neighbors. The Lord wants us to interact
and fellowship with one another as in the days of old.


SUDDEN DESTRUCTION
March, 2001


Turbulence, moaning, groaning and despair
Seems to be hitting this nations homes and communities everywhere
The happy carefree homes and families from the past
Seem to be a dream and a life style that did not last

The good old days are talked about
Among those of us who are of the age to still remember
Reruns of these times can still be seen on some stations on the TV screen
But look quickly and compare
For soon the visual record of these days will rarely
Be seen or read about publicly anywhere

A new generation much worse then the last
Comes to adulthood and maturation
They are now leading, making decisions and governing the nation
The color gray brought on by secular humanism
Removes the black and white from decision making
This causes constant confusion

Those walking in the light
Are blessed to see the separation of the sheep and the goats
While the storms are brewing, God helps His children stay afloat
Lukewarm is almost gone and hot or cold can be written on a note
The wheat and tares grow side by side
This deception does not deceive the forthcoming bride

And now the Lord would have His way
In the Book of Revelation he did say
I would rather you be hot or cold
I will spew you out of My mouth - there is no other way

Things are not working out for the carnal man
As they seemed to in days gone on before hand
Man is sitting in a hot boiling water pot
And doesn't realize he is about to experience the slow
Moving trap. The judgements and curses will not stop

Lives will be changed at this point
Realization of what is really going on
Will come to late for a multitude of nations

The ark is getting ready to move out of park
Man made plans are turning to putty in His hands
The god of this world has blinded their eyes
The daily ongoing judgements and curses cannot be
Seen or heard by the masses as they try to stand
And the solid ground that they were standing on
Moves out from beneath them like quick sand

God is preparing his church
Not a building, but flesh and blood
To take care of those who want to receive
Our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the great price at Calvary

Saints, the preparation for these days is hard and tough
Our heavenly Father is shaking us and sometime we feel
That he gets a little bit rough
The stripping and peeling off of unknown attitudes and behavior
Is done to train us to go into action and labor

The overcomers will be standing and moving ahead
Victory will be ours and there will be nothing to dread
It is time to move over
And let Him be Lord of everything we do
Our obedience to His voice
Will cause many to make the right choice
