The Healing Rooms of Greater Auburn

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (ISA 53:5)

Dear Pastor,

The purpose of this letter is to introduce The Healing Rooms of Greater Auburn. This ministry is being birthed out of a fervent desire to see God's healing and miracle-working power manifested, to see the sick get well and the captives set free. The Bible tells us that Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil, that by His stripes we were healed, and that it is God's desire for us to prosper and be in good health. Yet the Bible also tells us that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

This ministry seeks to equip the Body of Christ with the knowledge they need to fulfill the Great Commission. "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." The Body of Christ can bring His healing power to the rest of the world. The Healing Rooms of Greater Auburn seeks to equip and release believers into the healing ministry, according to Mark 16:17.

The Healing Rooms of Greater Auburn is affiliated with the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) in Spokane, Washington. The original Healing Room, birthed by John G. Lake, was in operation in Spokane from 1914 until 1935. It was re-opened in 1999 by Rev. Cal Pierce. Under IAHR's oversight, hundreds of healing rooms are opening all across the country. God has chosen this time in history to demonstrate the power of Jesus Christ by healing all manner of sickness and disease.

If, as the Bible tells us, one can set ten to flight and two can set 100 to flight, then how much more could the entire body of Christ accomplish if we came together in unity to see people healed and delivered?

When the believers in the upper room came together in unity, the walls were shaken by the power of the Holy Spirit. That kind of unity and power is what we need today. We are looking for God's people to come together in this ministry in order to see people saved, healed, delivered, restored and set free. Christians working together will tear down denominational barriers when they minister in the unity of the Holy Spirit.

It is our heart to minister to those in desperate need of God's touch, but we can’t do it without committed, gifted workers and pastoral support. It is our fervent prayer that you will encourage those in your flock who feel God's call to join us, to be equipped and ultimately serve in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. I look forward to meeting with you personally or to addressing your congregation to represent the ministry and answer any questions you may have. May God get all the glory!
