America and the other countries of the world, are at a cross roads. Our fate may be decided on what we do about partial-birth abortion. Please mobilize your prayer groups, meet with your prayer partner, or indicidually bring this request before the Throne of Grace.
In addition, for both those inside and outside of America, pray against the Spirit of Abortion in your country. In the Name of Jesus Christ, tear down the strongholds of the enemy, declare the enemy powerless to prevail in perpetrating the evil of abortion, bind the powers of darkness and loose warrior angels of the Lord Jesus Christ to do battle against the enemy that this evil would be halted forever.
BORN-ALIVE INFANT PROTECTION ACT
·"Live birth abortions" (inducing premature delivery, then denying medical care and leaving the baby to die) have become an increasingly common practice in many hospitals. In Illinois, a Chicago nurse revealed that "live birth abortions" were routinely conducted in her hospital. The Illinois Senate passed a "born-alive" bill, but pro-abort committeemen prevented it from reaching a House vote.
·In Massachusetts, a pro-life group learned that a baby was intentionally being starved in a local hospital. They appealed to the District Attorney, only to be rebuffed on the basis that it was the parents' choice.
·Premature babies born at 24 weeks have a 40-70% chance of survival, if given medical attention immediately.
·Thirty states and DC have laws that protect live-born infants once outside the womb. Efforts are underway to pass clear, strong state laws. But abortion groups are working to resist them.
·Predictably, pro-abort groups who went all-out to stop this bill last year are raging again.
·While 74 Congressmen have joined Rep. Chabot to sponsor the House bill, only 2 Senators have joined Rick Santorum to cosponsor the Senate version.
·Hearings assigned to a Judiciary Subcommittee are scheduled for Thursday.
The Lord sent destruction to Judah to "remove them out of his sight...for the innocent blood that [Manasseh] shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon." We Americans through our elected and appointed officials have filled our land with innocent blood via abortion and infanticide. We must plead for God's forgiveness and do all we can to stop the innocent bloodshed through prayer and spiritual warfare, including praying for every pro-life initiative.
Please pray:
·Heavenly Father, FORGIVE us for our complacency & for allowing the shedding of innocent blood in our land; FORGIVE us that such a bill would even need to be considered. Cause us to AWAKEN & REPENT! (Ps 94:20-21; Pr 6:17; 2 Chr 7:14)
·Fully EXPOSE and STOP all deceit & wickedness in Congress. May Congress pass this bill & may it quickly become law. (Lev 20:1-5; Dt 21:8-9; Ez 14:6-7; 18:30-32; Ho 4:6-7; Mk 6:10-12; Eph 5:8-16).
Pray for our President that a) he will continue to be motivated by the Holy Spirit b) that those forces that would seek to destroy hom or to lead him astray would be put into confusion and be ineffectual.
Pray for the members of congress and the senate that a) God would continue to draw them into a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, b) that God would impress upon them the horrors of the sin of abortion.
Pray against the Spiritual Powers and Principalities behind the sin of abortion as follows:
Lord, we ask you Lord to protect us and our families and loved ones. We ask you Lord to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We ask you Lord to surround us and our families and loved ones with your Holy Angels to protect us and to do the Word, the Will and the Work of God in our lives and through our lives that Your Name might be glorified.
We acknowledge Lord that without You, we can do nothing, but that through your sacrificial death at Calvary you triumphed over all powers and prinicipalities and that at the Name of Jesus, that every knee shall bow. We thank you Lord for your promise that whatever we bind on earth, will be bound in Heaven. We thank you Lordthat the gates of hell will not prevail, but that you have given us powerful spiritual weapons to demolish every argument and pretense that exhaults itself against the will of God.
Therefore, Father, in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ and by His Precious Blood, we Bind the powers and principalities behind the sin of abortion and declare them powerless to influence people to have have abortions; we declare them powerless to influence those in authority to promote the sin of abortion; and we declare that they shall not prosper against the will of God.
We thank you Lord that you are not a man that you should lie, that Your Holy Word is true, and that You hover over Your Word to perform it and that Your Word shall not return to you empty, but will accomplish all that you purpose. Therefore, we stand together against the powers behind the sin of abortion in the Name of Jesus and by His Blood and declare that the Gates of Hell will not prevail, but that the Will of God shall be done...to the Glory of God and in Jesus Name, Amen!

Republican Senator James Jeffords has abandoned the Republican party
causing a shift in power. He has declared himself an independent, but his
vote will make Democrat Tom Daschel the new senate majority leader and in
addition, will place democrats as the chair of all committees. This places
President Bush's agenda at risk and places the democrates in the position
of being able to block President Bush's conservative (Pro-life) judicial
nominees.
However, as a response to your prayers, God will find a way as we continue
to agree in prayer. interestingly, it was reported that Senator Robert
Torricelli (Dem, NJ) in under criminal investigation for receiving illegal
gifts for political favors. If he is found guilty, the republican governer
of N.J. would name a republican causing the power in the senate move back
to the republicans (Pro-Life).
But, this is not about politics. It is about prayer -- as the fervent,
effectual prayer of a righteous people availeth much. As we join in prayer
to pray for our president and the leaders of other countries where abortion
is the law of the land and against those spiritual forces behind the
pro-death agenda in this country and the countries of the world, God will
move. God responds to prayer and He will find a way when there seems no
way. It is our role to pray.
The current prayer emphasis is as follows:
