TRANSFORMATION
SYRACUSE/CNY

Our Background:

Transformation Syracuse Leadership:

Vincent and Deborah Aquilino are ordained ministers and serve as the Co-Directors of the Healing Rooms of Greater Syracuse and as NYS Directors for the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR). They are also USSPN (United States Strategic Prayer Network), USGAPN and NGPA Coordinators for Greater Syracuse.

NYS USSPN Leadership:

Joseph and Avonne (Vonnie) Askins are ordained ministers with a call to intercession for the Body of Christ.

They serve as the New York State Coordinators for USSPN and USGAPN (under Chuck Pierce) and are also the New York State Coordinators for the NGPA (under Dutch Sheets). Together they labor to mobilize and network intercessors and ministries across New York State.

Joseph serves on the Western New York Prayer Networks' "Council of Elders", and also provides oversight to the Flushing Queens House of Prayer.

Joseph and Avonne (Vonnie) Askins are co-founders of Living Faith Ministries and chancellors of the Wager Leadership Institute Rochester Campus. Joseph is anointed and called to preach and teach. He ministers nationally and internationally to equip leadership and the body of Christ to see transformation come to lives, regions and nations.

The Call:

In 2003, Cindy Jacobs released a prophetic word that God was marrying the healing room movement to the cleansing of the land for the taking of entire cities and regions for Jesus Christ. She challenged the Healing Room directors to begin spiritual mapping projects in their areas as she said it was imperative not only for revival to take place, but was mandatory to achieve breakthrough in the healing arena.

Keys to Success

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hos 4:6)

General prayer is not enough to bring transformation. For example, Ethiopia suffered for 30 years with draught and famine, but the countless prayers offered by the people seemed to be of no avail until a specific sin issue was identified and corporately dealt with. Once that occurred it started raining and the rains continued for two years. Ethiopia is going from curse to blessing and is being transformed by the power of God. Spiritually, churches are exploding, but physically Ethiopia has turned green and is now producing more food then they can consume. There has been an infusion of foreign capital and many factories are being built and Ethiopia's infrastructure is being reborn.

In like manner, transformation can happen in Syracuse and other cities around New York State as specific sin-issues are identified and dealt with and the churches come together in unity.
