prayer teams to raise the prayer walls of protection around Syracuse and Central New York -- just as Nehemiah did around Jerusalem in his day. Nehemiah charged family groups with the responsibility of building their part of the wall. They built with one hand and carried a sword in the other. As the church of Jesus Christ assumes its position on the wall, regardless of denominational differences, to pray over our area, we will see revival come to Syracuse.
"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2CH 7:14)
It must start with God's people who: 1) name the Name of Jesus; 2) humble themselves; 3) come together to pray; 4) corporately repent and turn from their wicked ways and 5) seek His face. Then God will hear our prayers and heal our land. But it starts with us, the Lord's people, coming together in unity and repentance to seek Him.
We need revelation, wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit. In order to be effective in demolishing the strongholds of the enemy, we must seek His stategies and battle plans.
"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)
Success will require targeted prayer. Ethiopia suffered draught and famine for 30 years, and the prayers offered up by the people seemed to be of no avail. But, when specific sin issues were identified and corporately repented of, it started raining, and the rains continued for two years.
Ethiopia has gone from curse to blessing and is being transformed by the power of God. Spiritually, churches
are exploding; physically, Ethiopia has turned green and is now producing more food then they can consume.
There has been an infusion of foreign capital, many factories are being built and Ethiopia's infrastructure is being reborn.
Transformation can happen in Syracuse, as well, once specific sin-issues are identified and dealt with.
Much research into Syracuse's history has been done and several issues have already been identified and repented of.
"Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the LORD." (2CH 30:12)
We must have unity. In order to destroy the "dome of darkness" over this area and build a wall of protection around it, we need the entire family of God, regardless of minor denominational differences, to assume their positions on the wall and work together in unity (Nehemiah Prayer Teams).
The army can arise in Syracuse to pull down spiritual strongholds, but we must unite and connect through Christ before God will give us victory in spiritual warfare. Unity is essential for success. We must come together for the cause of Christ and His people -- one mind, one Body.
"Then the LORD called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side
and said to him, "Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads
of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it." (Eze 9:3b-4)
It has been prophesied by Bobby Connor, Bob Jones and other prophets that transformation and revival are coming to the Northeast.
